Property Manager

Position Summary: The Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of a future 186 scattered site family and senior LIHTC complex. The complex is currently undergoing extensive rehabilitation, with phased completion expected in 2023-2025. Until full occupancy, Property Manager will assist with other projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Complete the move-out process per protocol.
o Perform final walk-through inspection
o Notify maintenance to secure and turn unit
o Coordinate with Occupancy Specialist to fill the vacancy
 Once an application has been approved, the PM will schedule a move-in date, execute the lease agreement, and conduct an orientation to guarantee
o appropriate use and care of the home
o a detailed background of services offered organization-wide
 Perform day-to-day management tasks:
o Manage delinquent rent accounts
o Apply resident-related charges and ensure accurate tenants ledgers
o Promptly respond to rental disputes, balance inquiries, or other concerns
o Ensure residents are in compliance with Lease Agreement and House Rules
o Conduct annual home visits to ensure the resident is in compliance and maintaining a safe and sanitary home
o Walk property daily and coordinate with maintenance to ensure presentable curb appeal
 Complete annual LIHTC lease certifications and lead MHDC audit inspections

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree preferred.
 3-year minimum Property Management experience.
 3-year minimum LIHTC and HOME compliance experience.

Skills & Attributes:
 Previous work experience with property management software (appfolio/yardi/or similar) and Microsoft applications.
 Professional verbal and written communication.
 Attention to detail.
 Strong organizational skills.
 Knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and LIHTC compliance.

Salary and Benefits:
 Full-time hourly position with benefits for a full-time position as determined in the current Beyond Housing Employee Handbook
 Salary $50,000-55,000
