Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) Tax Credits

We are pleased to announce that eligible donors can now receive a tax credit worth 50% of their gift of $500 or more to Beyond Housing through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP).

The State of Missouri has approved Beyond Housing to issue Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits. If you have qualifying income, you can receive 50% of the value of your gift to Beyond Housing back as a tax credit when you give $500 or more. Businesses and individuals with business income taxable in the State of Missouri are eligible for the NAP tax credit program.

  • Corporations
  • Express Companies
  • Financial Institutions
  • Individuals operating a farm in Missouri
  • Individuals operating a sole proprietorship
  • Individuals with rental property in Missouri
  • Insurance Companies
  • Limited Liability Companies (LLC)
  • Partnerships
  • S-Corporations

  • Step 1: Make your contribution of $500 or more in cash or stock to Beyond Housing, indicating your desire to apply for tax credits on your donation (check or online in the memo section.)
  • Step 2: We will send you an application and brief instructions on how to fill out the NAP tax credit application. 
  • Step 3: Complete and return the notarized NAP application with proper documentation to: Beyond Housing, Attn: NAP Tax Credits • 6506 Wright Way • St. Louis, MO 63121
  • Step 3: After receiving your completed form, Beyond Housing will mail both the application and proof of donation to the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
  • Step 4: You will receive a certification letter directly from the State of Missouri indicating approval typically within 6 weeks, including directions on how to redeem your tax credits.

Eligible donations can be redeemed or claimed when you file your tax return. Any remaining tax credit balance can be used during the next five years.
