After a successful inaugural year, the 24:1 Arts & Culture Festival is returning Saturday, September 14th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pagedale Town Center located at the southeast corner of Page and Ferguson. The event is a celebration of the artistic talent in both the 24:1 Community and greater St. Louis—and is free and open to all.
This year’s event promises to be even better, and will feature live music, arts activities for kids and adults, storytelling, and food, as well as the work of amazing local artists.
In addition, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis will be hosting a truly one-of-a-kind experience on Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th at 7 p.m. called Love at the River’s Edge that features a travelling adaptation of Shakespeare’s As You Like It—performed by youth from both Calhoun County, IL and North St. Louis County in two different locations. Act I takes will take place at Pagedale Town Center, located at the intersection of Page and Ferguson, in Pagedale, MO at 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday night. The audience and cast will then be transported by bus and ferry across the Mississippi River for the performance of Act II on the riverbank. Tickets are free but reservations are recommended.
