Beyond Housing Gains Membership with NCST

In May 2016, Beyond Housing has joined the ranks of organizations belonging to the National Community Stabilization Trust (NCST), a nonprofit organization that works to revitalize and protect communities with a substantial number of vacant and abandoned properties.

As a member of NCST, Beyond Housing now has the opportunity to be among the first bidders on Freddie Mac and Fannie May properties, including those within the boundaries of the Normandy school district. Only three other nonprofit organizations in the St. Louis area are members of NCST—none of which are in the Normandy School District—giving Beyond Housing an advantageous position in further supporting the community through the 24:1 Community Land Trust.
