Donor Privacy Policy


The purpose of this policy is to inform donors and other stakeholders of Beyond Housing’s commitment to manage donor information responsibly, transparently, and in accordance with the wishes of the donors to whom it pertains. Beyond Housing collects and maintains the following types of donor information when it is voluntarily provided to us:

  • Contact information such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
  • Giving information including amounts, dates, and purposes of gifts.
  • Information on events and workshops attended, publications received and specialbrequests for program information.
  • Information provided by the donor in the form of comments and suggestions.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation. This confidential information is kept on file. It is also used to analyze overall giving patterns in order to make more accurate budget projections. Occasionally, donors may receive mailings that keep them informed of programs, activities, special events, and needs for support. This information may be shared with staff, board members, and consultants only on a confidential and need-to-know basis.

Beyond Housing does not sell, rent, trade or share its donor list with any other organization. Beyond Housing never sends out mailings on behalf of other organizations


Our privacy policy is regularly reviewed to make sure we continue to serve the privacy interests of our customers.
