The holidays are just around the corner, and the Holiday Friends gift-giving program is gearing up to make the season brighter for 1,000 children across 23 communities in North St. Louis County.
As a supporter of Beyond Housing, you’re already part of our family—and you’ve created a connection that strengthens these resilient families. Holiday Friends is an important part of our comprehensive approach.
For children, it’s all about the presents, but for their parents and caregivers, it’s about being able to provide those gifts without the stress of added financial burdens when funds are already tight and seeing the priceless smiles on their children’s faces.
Becoming a Holiday Friend
You can fill out this form to buy gifts for a child (or several children) within a family. You will receive an email with details about the child(ren), including their age, clothing and shoe sizes, and a wish list. Please plan to spend a minimum of $50 per child on gifts from their list or ideas like these.
You can also make a donation toward Holiday Friends and our elves will do the shopping for you.
You can join together with family, friends, work colleagues, faith congregation, etc. For tips on organizing a group, email HolidayFriends@beyondhousing.org.
Please also keep an eye out for opportunities for your group to support Holiday Friends at a winter-themed event on Saturday, Nov. 27, at Carter Commons in Pagedale!
Save the date for the gift drop-off
If you choose the option of purchasing gifts, the drop-off dates for unwrapped items are Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 13 and 14, from 7AM-7PM at Beyond Housing, 6506 Wright Way in Pine Lawn. To prevent the spread of COVID, this will be a contactless, drive-thru event.
