On Tuesday, January 10th we were pleased to welcome over 200 of our friends and neighbors to the 24:1 Annual Community Meeting and Open House. This year’s event was hosted at our new headquarters and community space in Pine Lawn, Missouri just up the street from the Barack Obama Elementary School.
The evening consisted of music and entertainment performed by the Normandy 7th and 8th Grade Center Jazz Band along with several guest speakers including Dr. Charles Pearson, Superintendent of the Normandy Schools Collaborative. Dr. Pearson provided everyone with an update on the district and their improved Provisional Accreditation Range on the State’s Annual Report Card. Those attending also learned about new employment opportunities available within the 24:1 Community and toured the new offices and community space including the community kitchen, computer lab and meeting rooms.
We were very pleased with the number of residents from the 24:1 community who were able to attend. As always, we will keep you posted on upcoming events and look forward to another exciting year of helping entire communities become better places to live.
