After 50 Years of Progress, the Future Is More Uncertain Than Ever
Beyond Housing President and CEO Chris Krehmeyer writes why, after 50 years of transformation, the organization’s future and those it serves are in jeopardy.
In 2023 the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) launched their speaker series to attract and connect thought leaders both locally and nationally around topics that are relevant to our community and society. Through panel discussions, educational presentations, movie premiers, and more, these events serve as an inspirational next step in placemaking and community building.
The hope with this speakers series is to share the mission of Beyond Housing in the 24:1 Community and raise awareness around issues and causes that affect so many lives. This is just one of the many opportunities the WLN supports to become an indispensable resource for the most vulnerable.

The WLN Inaugural Speaker Series Event was held on Thursday, March 9 at the 24:1 Cinema. The conversation was led by a group of health experts discussing women’s history and health as it relates to their own experiences.
