ST. LOUIS, MO—OCTOBER 10th, 2018—The 2018 24:1 Arts Culturefest is almost here! The event is totally free and takes place October 20th at the Pagedale Town Center (Corner of Page and Ferguson) from 10am to 4pm.
The 24:1 Arts Culturefest is a celebration of the artistic talent within the 24:1 Community. This year’s event will be a day to remember, with live performances from Normandy school kids, soul singer Brian Owens, and West African master drummer Caph Guei. A special interactive art project will also take place where residents will help paint a special 24:1 Community mural on a Bi-State bus. Booths will also be set up featuring the work of local artists, special activities and projects for kids, as well as barbecue, hot dogs, and other great food.
The event is cosponsored by Beyond Housing and the Normandy Schools Collaborative, with additional sponsors including LifeArts Inc., the Missouri Arts Council and the Regional Arts Commission.
